TAIGER’s new automation platform, Omnitive Studio, takes first place in the Process Digitalisation subcategory of the SwissCham Singapore Digital Transformation Award 2020. The award is part of the inaugural SwissCham Business Excellence Awards and presented in collaboration with Deloitte.

Why is digital transformation important for a culture of innovation?

The Digital Transformation Award by SwissCham espouses the accelerating pressure to digitally innovate, particularly under a new COVID-19 global business climate. Multinationals, SMEs and startups were invited to use the award as a platform to present their entrepreneurial and digital transformation efforts that leveraged enabling technologies, including cloud, blockchain and AI, as novel ways to expand businesses.

“Digital Transformation has rapidly accelerated across all businesses and sectors. This is not just about adapting to new technology but transforming and adapting business models to capture new opportunities. I was delighted to see the level of positivity, innovation and creativity that the shortlisted companies displayed.” – Cindy Hook, AP CEO of Deloitte

43 companies compete across five subcategories

43 Singapore-based companies joined the fight spanning the final quarter of 2020, commencing with a closed-door selection across 7 pitching nights from 30th September to 19th November 2020. In the five subcategories, B2B, Advanced Manufacturing, Financial Service, Product Digitalisation, and Process Digitalisation, TAIGER was shortlisted as the top three in Process Digitalisation and emerged as the winner following a second pitching round. Submissions were assessed across a number of different criteria including customer experience, business strategy, technology, operations, and organisation and culture.
