A large national volunteer management agency that sought to improve the uptake of volunteers to participation groups nationally. To achieve this goal, the task at hand was to match volunteers to volunteer groups in an efficient but personalised manner.

 

A virtual assistant, Omnitive Converse, was deployed to function as a group recommender by interacting with users and creating a list of up to 5 personalised volunteering recommendations. Its understanding of human queries, sentiment detection, guided dialogue feature and more resulted in an elevated customer experience and high user satisfaction.
