Once again, TAIGER’s cutting-edge technology has received recognition. On March 5 it won one of the awards in the Innovation category in the second edition of the Mejores Prácticas Empresariales (Best Business Practices) prizes, awarded by El Confidencial and KPMG.
The jury recognized the company’s disruptive technology in the area of artificial intelligence, primarily valuing its work in the areas of computational semantics and natural language processing. TAIGER was competing in its category with over twenty top-tier companies, such as Sacyr, Gamesa, Indra, Azcoyen or Banco Sabadell, which makes its win even more impressive. This was the first time TAIGER opted for an award in this competition.
The jury, consisting of one representative of El Confidencial and one from each of the companies that won awards in its first edition (CG SOFT, FCC, Iberdrola, Imabe Ibérica, KFC, Mapfre, Room Mate Hotels, Seur, Telecoming, The Brubaker) chose the winners in each of five categories, with three prizes being awarded in each. TAIGER shared the honor with Indra and Azcoyen. In the category of Best Business Practices in Digitalization, the winners were BBVA, Sanitas and Meliá Hoteles. The prize for Best Business Practices in Internationalization went to Gamesa, Grupo Cosentino and Acerinox, while those that were awarded the Best Business Practices in Job Creation were Sanitas, Indra and Everis. In the fifth and last category, which recognizes the companies with Best Business Practices in Ecoefficiency, the winners were L´Oréal, Meliá España and Ecoalf.
