The National Infocomm Awards is Singapore’s highest accolade for infocomm innovation, jointly orgnised by the Infocomm Media Development Authority of Singapore and the Singapore Infocomm Technology Federation. It is awarded biennially, and more than 160 different companies and organisations took part in 2016 through three grueling rounds of elimination.
TAIGER was honored to be awarded the National Infocomm Award for Most Innovative Product/Solution for iConverse, recognising its contribution to Singapore’s vision of a Smart Nation – innovating to make lives better. In particular, TAIGER’s iConverse installation at HDB was lauded for its quality and cutting-edge technology.
Mr Gabriel Lim, Chief Executive Officer, IMDA said, “We’re excited by the quality of the submissions and the level of innovation displayed at this year’s NIA. The winning submissions clearly reflect the capabilities in the Singapore tech landscape, and the effective use of new technologies like machine learning and data analytics. IMDA is excited to support all companies to harness ICM to grow and thrive in this digital economy.”
Sinuhe Arroyo, CEO of TAIGER, was personally present at the NIA to receive award. “The National Infocomm Awards is a great way for companies with great technology to be recognised for their efforts in research and development,” said Sinuhe. “We are very happy to be awarded this honor by Singapore.”
